Once in a while a customer comes back with thanks and their story. Terry's story made an impact with TEAM STOKE so we wanted to share:
Terry: "I grew up in So Cal. I was an Anaheim kid. I went to Katella High. I was a skateboarder and bodysurfer but I loved playing football. After college I ended up playing football in NFL Europe. When I returned home from Europe I ended up working in Hollywood doing props and set dressing for Television and Movies. In 2020 I was at Laguna Beach and I stepped on a bottle cap. The bottle cap had strep and staph on it and it created a massive infection that couldn’t be controlled and after eight surgeries they ended up cutting off my leg on 2/22/21. Since then it’s been all about recovery and fighting. I haven’t been able to find a shoe that has the comfort I need to get through the day until I found Stoke. Stoke shoes are so comfortable I can’t even tell I’m wearing shoes. This is coming from a guy that’s tried every shoe on the market. Thank you Stoke for creating a shoe that allows me to get up and out so I can see everything this world has to offer."
