STOKE, the sneaker brand engineered for the 97 million American men with wide feet, is welcoming stand-up comedian and creator Chad Daniels as a brand partner. Chad will also lead content for the brand, bringing his deadpan Midwestern humor to a story built for regular guys.

Who is Chad Daniels?

Twenty-five years into stand-up Chad still lives in Minnesota. When success came he skipped the move to LA or New York that most comedians make. He builds his own furniture. That isn’t a bit. It’s just who he is.

His comedy, including Natural Selection, Footprints on the Moon, Dad Chaniels, and Netflix’s Empty Nester, is built on marriage, fatherhood, and getting older. Vulture has called him one of the great unsung American comedians. He doesn’t perform manliness, he describes his real life, and guys everywhere recognize it as their own. He’s humble, working class, and hilariously honest, which is why his audience trusts him.

What the partnership looks like

As a partner, Chad will create content for STOKE built around his style of humor, the kind that connects with guys in all 50 states. STOKE builds shoes for the men the footwear industry has overlooked for too long. Chad is one of those men, which makes him the right person to tell the story.

In Chad’s own words

“I grew up around guys who work for a living and never complained about their feet, because nobody was listening. STOKE is finally listening. These are shoes for regular guys, and I’m about as regular as it gets.” — Chad Daniels

The bigger picture

The partnership continues STOKE’s push to redefine modern footwear through better fit, inclusive design thinking, and creator-led storytelling that resonates with today’s audiences.
