Here’s how to measure what you’re working with using nothing but a sheet of paper, a pen, and a ruler.
LENGTH
1. Stand up straight on a hard surface with your heel against a wall.
2. Place a sheet of paper under your foot.
3. Mark the tip of your longest toe (could be the big toe, could be the second — don’t judge).
4. Measure from the wall to the mark. That’s your foot length in inches.
WIDTH
1. Put the paper under your foot again, this time sideways.
2. Stand with full weight on your foot—don’t sit or lean.
3. Mark both sides of your foot at the widest part (usually across the ball of your foot, near your toe knuckles).
4. Step off and measure the distance between the two marks. That’s your foot width in inches.
Use our size chart to match your foot length and width.
TIPS
1. Measure both feet - most guys have one foot slightly bigger.
2. Measure in the morning - feet expand by up to half a size during the day.
3. For half sizes: if you like them loose, SIZE UP. Or SIZE DOWN for a snug fit.
If your width is more than what most brands carry, you’re our kind of man. That’s why we build shoes that actually fit.
